San Diego City Schools adheres to the Academic Content Standards established by the California Department of Education (CDE).
In those subject areas where the CDE has not yet established state-level content standards, the district has developed content
standards that follow the state frameworks. These subject areas include Physical Education and World Languages.
The district-developed Physical Education standards can be found on the district web site.
The district-developed World Language Standards are below.
The English Language Development (ELD) Standards for Grades K-12 can be found on the CDE website.
An expanded district-developed version of the ELD Standards for Grades K-12 is below.
