The Elementary Progress Reporting Period 2 ends on February 29, 2008 for all Traditional schools. Scan Sheets
will be delivered to school sites beginning February 11 via regular weekly truck delivery; Progress Reports will be
delivered to school sites beginning March 3. Please note that weekly truck delivery schedules vary. Be sure to
verify the actual truck delivery for your school site.
In order to expedite delivery, scan sheets and progress reports will be available for pick-up from IT Operations
(Room 1110, Education Center) on the dates below. To schedule pick up on these dates, please complete and
fax the attached Request to Pick Up Scan Sheets and/or Progress Reports to IT Operations at 619-725-7540 no
later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7.
Scan Sheets: Friday, February 8 and Monday, February 11
Progress Reports: Friday, February 29 and Monday, March 3

We strongly encourage all schools (especially those with parent-teacher conferences scheduled during the week
of March 10) to pick up their scan sheets and progress reports directly from IT Operations (Room 1110, Education
Center).

Advanced Placement (AP) reports for the 2006-07 school year for the district and individual schools are now
available on the Research and Reporting web page at http://studata.sandi.net/research/ap. These reports display
results for Grades 10-12 test takers, AP course enrollments, and AP tests taken. These district-generated reports
may differ from other published reports due to data cleaning procedures in which student-level records received
from the College Board are validated using district and AP course enrollment records.
Student Summary Reports include the following data for Grades 10-12 students:
1. Total students enrolled in the district
2. Number and percentage of students who enrolled in an AP course
3. Number of students enrolled in an AP course who took an AP test and percentage of AP course enrollees
who took an AP test
4. Number of students enrolled in an AP course who passed an AP test and percentage of AP course enrollees
taking an AP test who passed the test
"By School: Districtwide" reports present these data for individual schools and the district as a whole; "By
Demographic Subgroup: Districtwide and Individual Schools" reports present these data for various demographic
subgroups (ethnicity, English language proficiency, gender, eligibility for free or reduced-price meals, AVID status,
and gifted-identified status); and "Individual Schools by Demographic Subgroup" reports present these data for
the demographic subgroups for individual schools and the district as a whole.
AP Course Enrollment Summary Reports include the following data for Grades 10-12 students:
1. Total number of subjects in which an AP course is offered
2. Total students enrolled
3. Number of AP course enrollments (a student may be counted more than once) and number of AP course
enrollments per 100 students
4. Number of AP tests taken by AP course enrollees and percentage of AP course enrollments resulting in an AP test
5. Number of AP tests passed by AP course enrollees and percentage of AP tests taken passed by AP course
enrollees
"By School: Districtwide" reports present these data for individual schools and the district as a whole; "By
Demographic Subgroup: Districtwide and Individual Schools" reports present these data for various demographic
subgroups (ethnicity, English language proficiency, gender, eligibility for free or reduced-price meals, AVID status,
and gifted-identified status) for individual schools and the district as a whole.

different format.

Cumulative Literacy Benchmarks: January 28, 2008 – February 1, 2008 for schools on traditional calendars
(Grades 6, 7, & 8 only). Materials will be delivered via truck delivery during the week of January 14, 2008.
Instructions for test site coordinators will be included with the materials delivered to sites.
