What We Do
The Program Monitoring Department is responsible for coordinating the implementation of Single Plans for Student Achievement (SPSA), supporting School Site Councils (SSCs) and the District Advisory Committee for Compensatory Education (DAC), and providing Title I services for eligible private schoolsAdobe Acrobat Document including professional development, support for teachers working in the program, and consultation with private school administrators regarding instructional program support. This includes four primary functions:
  1. Supporting School Site Councils (SSCs) and the District Advisory Committee for Compensatory Education (DAC) to effectively carry out their assigned responsibilities.
  2. Providing Title I services for eligible private schools Adobe Acrobat Document, including professional development and support for teachers working in the program, and consultation with private school administrators regarding instructional program support.
  3. Coordinating implementation of Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation process.
  4. Helping school site and central office staff, and parents and site advisory councils, understand and use student achievement data to inform instructional planning and monitor student progress.
